I actually think political views have a very great impact on values and idealogy and that somehow when two people are unable to see eye to eye or at least agree to disagree on politics, it’s quite a big disagreement.
And you bother only to debate and argue, only if you truly want to understand, and usually it comes to a point of, though disagreeing, acceptance of the other person’s pov, if only they let you.
that it is the other way around
